Catch a Night with the Stars!
Kick-off the convention-wide Wednesday Evening Celebration during the RAA Happy Hour in the Exhibit Hall from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm. Buses will depart starting at 6:45 pm for the 15 minute ride to the Nicollet Island Pavilion where attendees will set up camp for a Minnesota Northwood’s experience!
Don your casual wear for this urban park oasis featuring breathtaking views of the Minneapolis skyline. Stroll the riverside patio area and wooden walkways along the Mississippi River, while you enjoy a Great American BBQ buffet dinner with Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and Brats. Fun desserts include making your own smores by the fire.
Try your hand at trout fishing in our 1,000 gallon, 18ft x 24ft “pond”. You won’t want to miss this unique catch and release activity as you compete with other RAA attendees! The evening is capped off by a high-energy performance of the World’s Greatest Rock N’ Roll Dueling Piano provided by Howl at the Moon. Come sing, dance and howl the night away as the most versatile and talented musicians perform your favorite requested songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today!
