During the morning session, the Inflight Seminar will start off with a discussion about the state of the industry which in recent months has received an incredible amount of press, political and public scrutiny. Along with an update on labor issues, the seminar agenda will look at some of the most pressing issues affecting Inflight management including AQP, ASAP and Emergency Response. The always popular breakout sessions will cover a wide range of issues including Trip Productivity, Labor Relations, Furloughing, and Employee Professionalism to name a few.
The seminar will conclude approximately 1:00 PM on Tuesday. The complete seminar agenda will be distributed by RAA at a later date.
Human Resources Seminar Overview (Monday-Tuesday)
The Human Resources Seminar agenda will kick off at 8:00 AM Monday morning with coffee at 8:00 AM and opening comments at 8:30 AM.
Attendees will be updated on the state of the industry in the wake of intense public and political scrutiny. We are pleased that Ford & Harrison LLC will join us again this year to provide an update on key employment law cases and labor strategies. The seminar will get into some of the most pressing issues facing the industry today including pilot hiring requirements and background checks. Of course, the seminar will include informative breakout session where all Human Resource professionals attending will have the opportunity to discuss their toughest problems with this very experienced group.
Anti-Drug & Alcohol Misuse Seminar Overview (Tuesday-Wednesday)
RAA will again hold the Anti-Drug & Alcohol Misuse Seminar beginning at 1:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon, concluding by 1:00 PM on Wednesday. We are pleased that a member of RAA’s extended family, Dr. Donna Smith from First Lab will again join us to provide guidance on meeting DOT and FAA compliance expectations including an update to the “strip and spin” rule published last year. This session is essential to keeping up with industry tends, regulatory changes, and being prepared for the next program audit. The day will wrap up with the RAA-sponsored ice breaker before dinner on your own.
Recognizing that we see new program managers joining the community every year, the agenda on Wednesday is designed with this group in mind. We will cover what every new or almost new testing program manager should know. This session will also include the always popular round table where everyone will have the opportunity to bring their toughest questions to share with the expects and the other program managers.
The seminar will conclude by 1:00 PM on Wednesday. The complete agenda will be distributed by RAA at a later date.

The Summer Seminars creates one of the industry's best opportunities for providers to have access to airlines' decision makers. There are a limited number of opportunities to be a sponsor at the Human Resources Seminar or the Anti-Drug & Alcohol Misuse Seminar or to exhibit at the Inflight Seminar.
