AN EXCLUSIVE TENNESEE GOLF OUTING
Enjoy an exceptional day of golf at the Hermitage Golf Course, President’s Reserve, voted by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the Top 10 courses in Tennessee. President’s Reserve, designed by architect Denis Griffiths, winds through 300 acres of natural Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River. Relax and socialize with fellow golfers while RAA transports you to and from the golf resort, included with your registration fee.
The tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4. The format will be a 4-Player Scramble. There will be a team competition, as well as contests for the longest drive and closest to the pin.
In addition to transportation and greens/cart fees, your registration fee covers a continental breakfast, bottled water along the course, a boxed lunch, and a reception following the tournament.
Club rental is available on a limited basis. Further information will be provided in your golf confirmation letter.
You may register yourself and/or a team for the tournament through online Convention registration. If you would like to select your golfing companions, simply provide names, email addresses, and pay for your players in a single process when you register online. Golfers who do not choose to submit a foursome request will be assigned to teams based on handicaps.
When selecting your foursome, a few rules apply:
- You are responsible for ensuring everyone in your foursome wishes to golf and has not registered separately.
- You may not reserve space for an unnamed individual, however, substitutions will be allowed.
- All golfers must be registered RAA Convention guests.
- It is your responsibility to ensure everyone in your foursome is registered and eligible.
RAFFLES AND PRIZES
RAA golfers participate in an exciting raffle during the golf reception, and proceeds benefit the RAA Scholarship fund. Raffle prizes vary (past prizes have included golf clubs, golf attire, gift cards, small electronics and the like.) Some of our best prizes are powered by YOU! Each year, RAA members and supporters help the Association give back through the Scholarship Fund by donating raffle prizes.
RAA has a long-standing tradition of providing “swag bags” to all golf participants at the start of the tournament. Any golfer may provide items for these bags to increase brand visibility and contribute to the camaraderie of the event.
Of course, sponsoring a golf hole is another way to participate. Each hole sponsorship includes two complimentary players. To learn more about sponsorship levels, please click here or contact Susan Young at email@example.com.
If you have registration questions or comments or wish to donate a raffle prize or contribute to the participant swag bags, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you on the course this year and hope you hit ‘em straight!
