Media registration is open to editors and reporters working full time for print, broadcast, or web publications with valid press credentials.

At the RAA 41st Annual Convention, May 9-12, 2016 in Charlotte you can meet face to face with all the key players and industry stakeholders working this issue.  Our generous sponsors GE Aviation have established a home base for you at the RAA Media Center for a full week’s worth of activities.
Our entire schedule can be found here, but these are some highlights you can expect from the conference:  

•    Monday evening, May 9 join Embraer hosts for the Annual Media Dinner (separate invite to follow).
•    Tuesday, May 10 starting at 8:30am (following continental breakfast in the Media Center) major manufacturers will provide updates on their respective programs.
•    Media are welcome to join the Presidents Council lunch on Tuesday and hear from our special guest speaker Winston Kelley, Executive Director NASCAR Hall of Fame and Announcer for Motor Racing Network.
•    Opening General Session on Tuesday afternoon will feature Steve Gilliland, Hall of Fame speaker and author of Making A Difference. Steve will share his motivational thinking and airline connections during his presentation—another plus he will be available to autograph his book, which features a forward from Herb Kelleher.
•    NTSB Chairman Christopher Hart will kick off our Wednesday morning session in the Exhibit Hall.
•    We’ve brought together industry stakeholders from the regional and major airlines, university, airline pilot and association sectors to delve into the challenges of Growing Tomorrow’s Pilot Workforce.
•    A panel discussion on Maintenance Training Advancements and Technician Supply will be the featured topic during Wednesday’s lunch break in the Exhibit Hall.
•    The traditional Airline Presidents’ Q&A session on Wednesday that you’ve come to value, where we provide an opportunity to get your questions answered in a unique face-to-face forum with regional airline leaders.
•    The Exhibit Hall will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday showcasing hundreds of companies’ technological advances in aircraft products and industry-related services.
•    If your interest is in developing stories related to Emergency Response, Flight Operations, Flight Technology, Flight Training, Inflight, Maintenance, Safety, and Security--feel free to attend any of the open track sessions during the week.
•    Visit with over a dozen colleges and universities in the Exhibit Hall University Commons to get insights from professors and students.
