RAA Urges Senators to Release Block on Pilot Workforce Amendments

A bipartisan group of Senate Commerce Committee Members have worked with stakeholders, constituents, airports, and community leaders to draft amendments to safely address the pilot shortage. Yet, Democratic Leadership on the Committee along with the Senate Majority Leader won’t even allow consideration of these amendments because the Airline Pilot Association (ALPA). Today, RAA President and CEO Faye Malarkey Black sent a letter to lawmakers urging consideration of these important amendments.
